Wine, anyone?

So I think I want to do wine as the favor. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Either want 1/2 or full bottles.

We did full bottles of a Chilean Wine (Avia) and put our own labels on them, put them in an organza bag and attached a tag. The bottles ended up being about $3....we also threw in a wine bottle stopper.

That's a great price. Do you mind me asking where you got the wine from? Also, did you do one bottle per guest or per couple? Sorry for all the questions, I'm the clueless bride

We went to duckwalk and got full wine bottles by the case. You can buy their lifetime membership card for $10 and you get 25% off...They also wrap them for you.

We bought it at a local liquor store in Brooklyn that DH knows the owners. Avia is a GREAT wine for such an incredible price...so it'll be about the same $$$ wherever you go.

We did one per couple - it was a FULL bottle.

I'm leaning more towards the full bottle. Thanks for the tip! Now let me go to the liquor store to get my hands on this wine!

We are doing full bottles...came out to like $4.95 a bottle and I ordered tags from E-Bay (thanks to Hollie )

We're using Pugliese for about $6. a bottle (full bottle) & they hand paint your names & wedding date on the bottle

we're doing full bottles of Charles Shaw... 1 per person .. It's available at Trader Joes but not in NY.. drove to Joisey and got 11 cases of 3-buck chuck (6 cases of Merlot, 5 cases of Cab Sauv)... made our own labels and stuck them on ourselves.. they fit over the entire front label.

im selling the rest of the package since i dont think i'll be using them for much else.. the label info is here
