Has anyone bought wine from the LI vineyards as a favor? If so, how much were they and were they decorated?

Re: Wine as a favor from LI?
I have been looking into this and I just heard today that Duckwalk Vineyards out east does them and they are decorated. I have to contact them next week so don't hold me to it.

We are doing wines also. It's hard to find splits of long island wines, though. We were going to use Pindar, but they are about $10 a split. We are getting married at The Vineyard Caterers and they do them there for $6 each. We have now settled on using splits of two wines we know are really, really good. We are doing half Forest Glen merlot and half Due Torro pinot grigio for about $6 per bottle.
Edited to add, I am going to make wine charms(one heart, one key) hang from the bottles with ribbon and a thank you card.

I bought mine from DuckWalk Vineyards. I did full size bottles and Duckwalk was a pleasure to work with. You can also get the same thing from the Pindar store in Port Jeff but Dulkwalk came in cheaper for me. Others told me they get cheaper prices from Port jeff. It may depend on what kind of wine you buy.
I got the regular Chardonnay which is my favorite from them and the first bottle of wine DH & I shared together. I think it may have been around $7/bottle but I am not 100% sure.
I had labels with our names and date made from www.myownlabels.com and sent them to Duckwalk who added them to the bottle. They then wrap the bottles with a choice of cellophane bags and a ribbon. I will try and post a picture.
I did all my dealings over the phone and ordered them about a month before my wedding. All I had to do was pick them up.
Denise we had the same bottles! We also bought them from Pindar in Port Jeff. We didn't find them to be overfriendly or too helpful, but it didn't really matter - we knew what we wanted and got a good price. We then went across the street for labels at 'And I Quote'. Another not-so-friendly place, but again, who cares.
We wrapped them ourselves in clear cellophanes bags, and tied matching green and purple ribbons around each neck
Don't have a scanned pic of it finished but here's a pic of the bottle:
We did full bottles of wine (1 bottle per couple) from Duckwalk and Pindar Vineyards. We bought 8 cases and these vineyards contacted us after we placed the order and offered a 25% discount on the order if we joined their wine club, at $10 for a lifetime membership. Needless to say, we saved over $250 as members of this wine club. The only decorations we did is have a hanging tag with our names and wedding date on the neck of the bottles. The bottles looked great with our centerpieces. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictur yet. Feel free to FM me if you have any other questions.
