I went to Pindar this weekend and ordered regular size wine bottles as favors. They give you 20% off a case (12 bottles) and they will wrap them in cellophane and wrap ribbon around the necks-you get to choose the ribbon. I paid $6.40 a bottle (per couple) and I am thrilled. They also provide labels for you which are placed above their own label if you would like. The woman was so nice and I am excited that I don't have to wrap them. Just some more information for you ladies if you are still thinking about favors....

I am jealous that you got it cheaper. I try to be the master of the good deal, and I was outdone

Re: Wine bottle favors
That's a good idea for favors. It seems to be a common one.

Re: Wine bottle favors
I was thinking of doing wine bottle favors as well but then I started talking with FH and he mentioned that if you put them on the table with everything else that might be already on it, might be too crowded..so now, I'm searching for other favor ideas...Are you ladies putting the wine bottle favors on the tables or are you setting them up on a different table. I'd love to use a cloth like wrapper that I saw and looked really elegant..I think the material was like organza..very beautiful....anyone has pics? I think this is such a great idea because it's something that everyone will enjoy.
