Wine bottle favors

Does anyone have ideas on a nice way to wrap full size wine bottles as favors???

Also, how do you think they should be given out - on a separate table or at each placesetting?

We put them in organza wine bags. You can look up my review to see pictures.
I didn't want them taking up space on the table so I had them on a seperate table by the entrance/exit of the ballroom and handed them out as the guests left.

since we cant do the lit votive placecard holders I am considering attaching a label to the wine bottle and using that as the persons 'placecard'. that way i know everyone will get their favor too..... I figure i would have them on a table outside of the reception room, who knows.....

Here's just a thought. If you don't want to hang labels from the bottles as placecard holders, can't you just put a small slit through the cork and attach the card to the top so they are very visible?

Can I ask how much people are spending on bottles of wine as favors? I am having probably 250 people at our wedding and I love the idea of wine as favors but am afraid that the cost would be just way too high.

Call around to various LI Vineyards. You'd be surprised at the discounts you get when buying wine in bulk.

I am using an organza bag and a tag from My Wedding Labels My florist told me NOT to put them on the table bc it would look too cluttered, so I am going to see if my hall willpass themout after the cake cutting or put them on table on the way out.
