Has anyone or is anyone doing wine bottle favors? If so, did you do regular size or mini ones? DId you give one per couple? Where did you get them from? I wanted to do LI wine and I was gonna go out to the wineries and get them, but someone told me it was cheaper to get them from the liquor store. Any suggestions?

I think im going to price them out at the liquor stor up the block. Every Sat they have a wine tasting there. I just think if you give the smaller bottles, you can give everyone one. If I do the bigger bottles, I would use them as the table cards.
I did the mini's. I hung a sand dollar with our names and date on the ribbon that I put together. We did one per couple or single. We went to Stew Leonards in Farmingdale. When you buy them buy the case there was a 10% discount. We got the Sutter Home....but we mixed the variety. We got Pino, Merlot, and White Zin. Had them mixed on the table so hopefully everyone had a chance of getting one they liked......I think I would do one per person if I were to do it again.
We did them for our wedding. We got them at a local liquor store where we live (we currently live in NJ) for about 1.60 a bottel for mini bottles. Then we wrapped ribbon around them with a favor tag w/ our names and date. They were pretty cute.
I received the small size bottle as a favor at a wedding. I think wine is a great idea!
I'm doing full size bottles, I went to a wedding where they did that and it was great. They did half red & half white.
i wanted to do pindar autumn gold...can u get it in small bottles though?

Got them at Bottles & Cases in Huntington, their prices are great!
I love the idea of wine favors. I guess you can price them at the store and also do searches online. Like froogle.com. But I think I would trust a store I can physically walk into.

my friends did one mini-bottle per couple/single guest for their wedding in October.
for e-party i gave out wine favors, i did the big 750ml bottles and bought it from a local liquor store and they worked with me on the price and gave me a good deal. I gave one per couple, or ppl who came alone got it for themselves
