Wine bottle table numbers

I saw this on the martha stewart website and love the idea - what do you ladies think - are people gonna be angry over who gets to take the bottle of wine? I don't want to do any cheezy games or anything like that...

Do you have a pic? I'm trying to visualize... is the number printed on the bottle or is it held up on top of it?

Oh I like those!

I think people will be mature about it. Although if you don't make some sort of announcement, no one might take it.

You could avoid having to do games by just saying that like the person with the birthday closest to your wedding date or the oldest person at the table or something can take it.

I know what you mean about cheezy games...

Are you going to have your favors on the tables already for people when they sit down? If you are you could always put a tag on the wine bottle with a poem/rhyme that says something about checking the bottom of their favor and the person who has a dot or a sticker or something on the bottom of their favor gets to take the wine home...

Oh thats a cute idea! my favors though are going to be martini glasses filled with pink m&ms and a brown favor ribbon- I'll figure something out! love that idea!

Thanks :) I definitely might steal your wine bottle table number idea though!! FH and I love wine and this is a great way to incorporate it into the wedding!!! Are you going to DIY the labels??

Yeah - I'm probably gonna have to glue it on thought or something because all I can find are the personalized labels not ones with table numbers on them....
