So I was thinking about doing mini bottles of wine for my eparty. I found a website that has a 4 pack of the Sutter Home 187 ml bottles for $1.50! How big are 187 ml bottles? I am afraid they are going to be like shot bottles! Anyone know anything about wine or that did wine favors please let me know if this is a decent size!

Re: Wine Favors!
187mL bottles are about a quarter of a standard bottle of wine. (They're sort of like personal serving sizes... a little bigger than a glass of wine)
They aren't really as big as the small bottle size most people use as favors. Most people use half bottles as favors -- 375ml.
Go into a wine store and you'll see the four-packs so you can see how big the bottles are.

Aha! I knew it! Thanks so much or I would have ordered the wrong size! Does anyone know what the size is that most people order for favors in ml?

See above -- 375ml. (aka 'half bottle' size)

Are these half bottles all twist tops or do they have corks?

for our wedding we are most likely doing half bottles of wine from Wolffer Winery in the Hamptons they have a chardonay and a merlot, and their bottles have corks too

Re: Wine Favors!
Hey guys:
On weddingwinefavors it advises that the bottle size for wine and champagne is 187 ml! That is $2.50 for a little shot bottle of wine with a label. I listed a site at the top where you could get 4 bottles of the same size for $1.50.
I am looking for a site where I can get a decent price on half bottles of Sutter Home but I have been unable to find one. I think I am just going to do chocolate covered oreos and pretzels.

Re: Wine Favors!
I know Pindar wine in Port Jeff does wine bottle favors. I don't know what size, but they have a competitive price.
