wine favors

i was thinking about doing full bottle wine favors but I'm not sure where to start...if you bought the bottles at a liquor store where would you get the personalized labels? and would you just stick them on top of the original label? I need some ideas and suggestions

You could take the old labels off with a razor.

Go to a bunch of liquor stores and ask them about discounts for buying in bulk.
As for the labels, there's a ton of websites out there that you can buy wine labels from, just google 'wedding wine labels' and start searching. I happen to be very picky, so I designed my own on powerpoint.
My dad is going to soak off the regular label on the bottle before we put on our own labels. He also bought silver foils to put on the top of the bottle over the plain maroon one that is on our bottles already to give it a little extra sparkle.

My mom and I did wine favors for my grandparents 50th anniversary last year... We did mini wine bottles and bought the labels ast Staples... I printed them and just placed them over the origal labels... We also bought personalized ribbons and put the around the neck with a seal instead of tying them... They were really cute and I would have done the same for my wedding but it was really pricey... We only had to buy 75 for that party, my wedding would be for over 200.

I was planning on doing wine favors. You would need to order the labels on your own...you can get them online. Just google 'personalized wine labels' and a bunch pop up also ebay has some. Some brides told me that they soaked the wine bottles in luke warm water and soap and that helped remove the original wine label. If your wine labels are the same size or smaller then i guess you can put them over it. I was going to wrap them in organza bags.

Good Luck
