Re: wine favors
my cousin gave full bottles for each couple/single guest. they were in white organza bags, and they looked beautiful on the table. it didn't end up in the garbage like a lot of other favors i've gotten.

Re: wine favors
I'm doing wine as favors. That was one of the first things we knew we were going to do. We're planning on going to the wineries and getting them through there. I know most of the places will even do the labels for you-liek personalize them. I think we're doing half red/half white. And most likely the half bottles instead of full bottles. But i think it's a great different favor idea!

Re: wine favors
i'm doing full bottles of wine....1 per couple.....and just make them super simplei think my max on price will be $5/bottle....i've heard rave reviews about trader joes' wine its $3/bottle but only the manhattan store carries it. this pic is from another bride on here, i forget who, but i like how simple the wrapping is.
we're also doing wine...i think we're doing half bottles and 2 bottles per couple 1 red 1 white not sure depending on how much it will be...ive been to a wedding where they did wine and loved it (drank it in the car going home lol classy i know)

Re: wine favors
I am doing wine as favors also. My father is making the wine and making special labels to put on the bottles. He is going to make a blush and a white. It's nice because it's something they will get good use out of.
FM me if you have any questions

Re: wine favors
I would love to do this wine favor but my FH probably won't go for it because his competitor sells it. stinks. I haven't tried the wine but I like the label because it has a hot air balloon (and that's how we got engaged)
for my sister's bridal shower we got heart wine stoppers and everyone uses them

Re: wine favors
For now, my favor is a candy buffet. I wouldn't mind doing the wine favors. It's just finding out where to purchase them

Re: wine favors
I did wine for the eparty. I got bottles of merlot and chardonnay from Trader Joe's for $3 a bottle. Then I peeled the labels off one case a day by soaking them and scraping the labels off with a razor blade. Then fh designed a label in photoshop, we printed then on full page labels that we later cut to size and stuck them on the bottles. Everyone loved them and they were probably about $3.50 a bottle with the labels and everything. I think there are pics in my album.
