wine favors?

Is anyone doing wine as a favor? If so where are you ordering the bottles from and how much are you getting them from? I have been looking and the cheapest I have found them was for $4.99 and honestly I cannot afford that!

thank you for your help

We are actually doing wine for our favors. The only thing is that we are making our own wine. My family makes wine so it was the easiest thing for us to do.

Hey I am doing mini wine favors. If you check your local liquor store, they sell them for $2 - $2.50 a bottle.

When we went to DC, we found them as low as $1.50... the Bestman lives out there, so he was informed that he may have to buy them and bring them with him on his next visit to NYC.

But seriously, you don't have to pay $4.99.... the local store sells them for much cheaper or even try a whole sale distributor.

trader joes is very cheap.

also, if you call some of the vineyards out east like Pindar, ask them what they monthly wine is, that particular wine is discounted heavily and then when you buy more then 6 cases, you get another discount, so the per bottle works out to be very cheap....i did this for our eparty.

Crashing...

I bought wine as my favors for the wedding. I bought mini bottles and got half white and half red and I am doing one per person. I got them for $1.51 from my local liquor store.

I ordered little tags from here My Wedding Labels

I've heard that Cappy's in Valley Stream (on Merrick Rd. I believe) has really good prices.

Trader Joe's...Union Square.

We heard about it from a friend and some of our friends host wine tastings... so we tried a few different bottles and really liked their Cabernet Sauvignon best. But they have Merlot, Cab Sav, Shiraz, White Zin, Sauvignon Blanc and a Chardonnay... they cost $2.99 a bottle...full size bottle..a case of 12 is less than $36. So we're going that route...
