wine favors - help
We are doing full size bottles of red wine as favors for our wedding. Does anyone know where I can get a decent red at around $5 a bottle? Any types specifically? We wanted to do a red from one of the LI wineries, but it doesnt look like anyone sells any in that price range. I called bottles and cases in Huntington already and they dont. They carry Gondomar and Van Loveren in that price range - has anyone tried these?Any other suggestions?

Try the wineries again and see if they give discounts for buying in bulk...Most places will give you a discount for that...

I'm looking for red. All the wineries are more than that even with a discounted bulk price.
Thanks!

Yellow Tail is an awesome and reasonable priced wine!!!!You might want to take a ride to Stew Leonard's in farmingdale where they give you the prices of buying the wine by the case. That way you can look for wines around the world and compare prices. I think they may also do tastings!!!

Did you try Joanina Wine Shop in Hunington Station? Also Long Island wine is very expensive bc of the climate.
To find cheaper red wine I suggest something from Chile, South Africa, Italy, (you might get a deal),or Argentina
