Hey all! I'm thinking of doing either the mini wine bottles or full sized bottles with lables for my Oct 2010 wedding. Does anyone know where to get those. I would need 75 whites and 75 reds. I tried contacting the vineyards but no one has gotten back to me. I have 16 months but I am starting to look now. Thanks.

You could always make your own wine too.
Arbor Wine in Islip has everything you need to make your own wine and they are so helpful. We are not using wine as favors but as baskets for the people staying at the hotel.

I think i am going to get Trader Joe's wine (it $3 for a full bottle and it's delicious) and then order custom labels to put over the TJ label. I just have to make sure the custom label I end up getting will fully cover it.

That's what I am worried about is that it will look tacky covering the label with another lable.

You can order sample labels to test it out. I ordered one and now I just need to buy a bottle of the wine!

I ordered full bottles of Pindar at Cappy's in Valley Stream. They came out to about $5.00 a bottle. I didn't do a label. I just tied a hanging tag on the side with raffia with our monogram.
I didn't want to cover up the Pindar label because I wanted to show my guests that it was a Long Island wine.

Some liquor stores sell mini bottles of Sutter Home wine in White, Blush, & Red and they come with labels. I'm getting mine for $1.50/bottle. One bottle per person.

I totally agree. We are actually making our own and getting all the supplies from them!

It's actually my cousins company! She really is AMAZING!!!! And I'm not saying that because I'm bias! LOL! A couple of my friends have used her for their weddings and other occasionals and we just used her for my FSIL's shower. So if you are thinking of ever using labels she can do that too.

How much extra do they charge for the labels? And which liquor store are you using?
