wine opener

did any of you register for a wine opener? if so, which one? i registered for an electric one... i bought my dad the same one for christmas and it's TERRIBLE! takes forever to open a bottle of wine - and it's just plain stupid.

Anyway, to all you winos like me... which wine opener do you swear by? TIA!
