Wine tour bachelorette party

Wine tour bachelorette party

My sister and best friend ate planning my bachelorette party. They're planning on doing a wine tour on a Saturday, pickup would be around 10am and it would a 7 hour tour meaning we would be done by 5pm. Now I know it's a long day but I still feel like ending a bachelorette party at 5pm is kinda lame, not that I'm calling my girls lame. I love them dearly! My sister is also trying to plan something for the night before so that my FSIL (who can't make the actual b-party and is one of my BMs) can be a part of it. Additionally, and this isn't confirmed cause they're keeping it top secret, I have a feeling that my shower is going to be that Sunday since my best friend and MatOH is flying in from Arizona for the Bach and I'm sure she can make 3 separate trips. Still I don't want to just call it a night at 5pm. And staying overnight out east isnt an option i dont think. Since we'll be out east at the wineries I don't want us to venture into the city just to go to a bar so I'd like to stay fairly local. I'm from Freeport but 1) the Mile got really banged up by Sandy and is still recovering and 2) I don't feel like running into people from high school. Did/is anyone else experience something like this?

What about doing Long Beach?

How's Long Beach doing? I was thinking about RVC cause we could take the train if we needed to. It's not too far to get stuck or to need another limo. Do you think it's too much?

My MOH's bach party is in a few weeks and we're doing the wine tour. After the limo drops us back in Queens we're taking a cab into the city, checking into a hotel, having dinner with a bunch of people not doing the wine tour and then out bar hopping, eventually ending up back at the hotel. I think it's an insanely long day, but it's what she wanted.
I think your idea of staying out on the island is wise and RVC is a good idea!

Honestly I haven't been down there lately, so I'm not too sure. But I'm sure bar hopping by Minnesota's or the Inn should be ok.

RVC is a really good idea too. Anywhere you can get a train to and from makes things easier.

I'm doing a wine tasting tour for mine and probably just doing dinner with my girls after. I'll probably be ready to sleep after anyway lol.

I went to the wineries 2 weeks ago and I was ready for bed early. The hour ride plus the wine and sun gets you very sleepy.

I recommend going to RVC. I haven't been to Long Beach recently, but if you want to drink, taking the train is a hassle and the LB branch has horrible hours.

If you want dancing you can go to Dark Horse, Cabo or Casey's. I don't know when it open's but Casey's has a roof top bar that is an older crowd. There are multiply bars to also go to.
The best part is that you can take the Babylon branch and it runs frequently or taking a cab shouldn't be that much.

For the wineries, make sure they bring food. Bring sandwiches, snacks, cheese & crackers and water.

I think the Inn is still closed (it was last week at least) but Minnesotas, Beach House, and Saloon are open. I can see RVC being easier for people to get home though.
