Re: Wineries
I am getting married at the Gallucio Gristina Vineyard, which is down the road from the Pellegrini. Pellegrini is beautiful, but it did not accomodate the amount of people we are having. The winery is working really well with me on the caterers and all of the particulars. When did you book for?

Re: Wineries
I havent booked yet. Im not getting married til July 04. Im still just scouting. I liked Pellegrini. Im having a small reception, about 120, so they should be able to accomodate it. What caterer are you using?

My cousin is getting married at Rafael Vineyard - I think it is in Cutchogue. The pictures from her visit look beautiful. They have an in house caterer.

Re: Wineries
Just went to a wedding at the vineyard caterers. It was beautiful there - I loved the scenery and the cocktail hour room (there was seating for everyone too)....the food was also really good! I had the chateau briand and FH had the mahi mahi...both wonderful.

Re: Wineries
We visited Raphael a few weeks ago and the facility is gorgeous! We were able to see into the private reception area and it was also lovely - for some silly reason I noticed that the chairs were a step above the average catering facility type of seating.

Re: Wineries
Carey,Back in May, my FH and I went out to the North Fork looking at wineries for our reception (my parents live in Southhold now). Here's a great site I used to narrow down my search of what vineyards hosted weddings: http://www.liwines.com/main.htm
One thing I can tell you about Pelligrini...I met with the caterer first (Irish Coffee Pub, EXCELLENT FOOD! deals alot with the vineyards). They said they seldom deal with Pelligrini anymore, very hard to deal with. Straight from their mouth! I loved Pellegrini, but my next choice was Palmer. Take a look at Raphael. It's absolutely stunning, but a bit too pricey. For a Saturday night reception..site fee, per plate, tax, tip came out to about $185!! But definitely take a look, it's beautiful!
Email me if you have any other questions, we looked at about 12 vineyards! Good Luck!
