Winery help

Ladies please recommend some of the best wineries to go to out east for tasting and to purchase wines.

Martha Clara, Osprey's Dominion, Macari, Vineyard 48 are my faves!

Pindar is really nice ...

But if you're looking to buy in quantity for favors, you can get the bottles cheaper locally. Try Bottles & Cases in Huntington.

Puglesie Vineyard - in the warmer months there is a beautiful outdoor table area with trellis overlooking a pond/fountain. Plus the wines are very good! (I was also proposed to there so I'm kind of biased :) Wolffer Estate is also nice.

If you're looking for a classy Merlot... try Raphael.

Martha Clara is always great....

Paumanok also has some great wines.

sometimes the little guys are better than the big ones. I'm not a big fan of Pindar.....but thats just me i guess.

Did you know Harbes Family Farm is now making their own wine? Not sure where you can buy it though... maybe at their farmstand.

here's a link to all the wineries.
www.liwines.com

You wont find Raphael on there because they arent a Wine Council member.
