Does anyone know anything about Winfixer? I get popups every 2 minutes on this & always click out of it, however FH clicked install. Now I'm wondering if we should download it & use it? Comments?
Cleans up all the virus/tojans, etc.

i dont know but this damn thing drives me nuts!!! it dl's itself, even if you hit cancel sometimes, i have uninstalled it so many times i cant even tell you....

I would use ad-aware. Never ever EVER expect anything in a popup to rid you of popups. Ad aware is free BTW. Try Download.com

BTW NEVER clock cancel or 'end' or 'no' or even the fake 'x' they have. It never really means that and it can download stuff. If you want to close it, make sure you're using the x that closes the entire window, not the one within the window

Jen, I think I'm going to buy the adaware. It takes care of everything?

It could also be the browser that you are using. I used to get a ton of pop ups when I used Internet Explorer, and now I use Slim Browser, and I have no pop ups at all Scott

I had switched to netscape for awhile because of popups but after adaware, etc I've been able to use IE with no problems at all.
