Winter Bridal Gowns?

What eddition of the bridal magazines should I be looking at?

I knwo I have awhile but I want to start...

I have to get an 'e' dress but once I book it I will then go looking!!

Demetrios has a beautiful coat dress, like the one Kate Hudson wore. It isn't the same dress, but similar style. I tried it on. It was a beautiful gown, but I am only 5'1 and it was too much dress for me. Macy's in Smithhaven Mall has the sample.

LOL! People sometimes look at me funny when I tell them I am going to wear a strapless in April! I wonder what kinds of comments all of you winter brides get!

My wedding was 11/2. The coat dress was a strapless gown with a long sleeve coat with covered buttons up the back. It is really beautiful. Go and try it on. It cannot hurt. Here is my gown. BUT I had a custom wrap made to wear with it.

Ronnie&Theresa: As far as looking for ideas for your gown you should be looking at winter and fall edition magazines - I'm getting married in the summer and I keep wishing I was getting married in the fall because all I see are fall colors and heavy fabrics!! I can't wait for the spring to get here...

Wear what you want

I'm getting married January 31st and am wearing a strapless that comes with a wrap. You'll be inside most of the time anyway- so wear what you want and what makes you happy. There aren't that many 'winter type' dresses out there.

I am wearing a tank style gown in January! Those dresses are so heavy and you will be moving around so much I don't think you guys will be cold. Except for getting into the limos and if you decide to do any outside pics. But isn't the price of beauty worth it LOL

I am getting married the night before Thanksgiving. I expect it to be cold. I bought a strapless dress. I love the style, however, I wanted some coverage when I go outside. I bought Maggie Sottero Paris Jacket. It is a bolero jacket.
