Are you wearing stockings? I HATE them and but I am trying to figure out f it would look odd if I didn't.

I think I'm the only person here who hates NOT wearing stockings with a dress or skirt.
But I digress...
I think you should do whatever makes you the most comfortable!
Are you wearing closed toed shoes? You might be more comfortable with some sort of stockings... If you're wearing open toe shoes, then go without!
But no one will be paying attention (and I doubt anyone will notice if you're not wearing them!) So you should do what will make you most comfortable on your day!

I don't want to wear stockings either, but my mom nearly had a heart attack when I told her I wasn't wearing them. She's like how can you be a bride without stockings!!!

My mom said the same thing. But I've hated them since I was 3, so I don't think I surprised her. I'll wear them if I have to, but I always end up doing that 'little girl hike up my stockings in the middle of the room' move. You just end up giving yourself a wedgie! haha!

I'm with you!! I get blisters on my feet if I don't wear stockings.
Honestly, in the winter your legs will prob be cold w/out stockings so I would get them. On the other hand you're going to be so hyped up you might not even feel the cold.
I would buy a pair just in case and then if you need them, you have them!!

I wore thigh highs. I hate wearing dress shoes with no hose and wanted to be comfortable on my wedding day.

Did the thigh highs stay up??? What about chaffing? I thought about them, but I have fat thighs and I was afraid it would look like stuffed sausages with spilage on the top.....

This has to be the funniest quote I've seen on LIW! I feel your pain! I've worn them, but I didn't feel comfortable in them, just made my thighs look like they had a roll!!

I bought mine from Macy's, I forget what brand. The top elasticy part was very comfortable, it was kind of like gel and didn't create any rolls on me, sorry I have no pics to show

I am not going to wear stockings. i hate them and i can't imagine trying to pee in my dress let alone have to pull town stockings as well, yuck. the dress is long and heavy and I am not worried about my legs being cold and if they end up being cold I will chalk that up as the price for being comfortable.

I dont think I am going to wear them....I just think it will be uncomfortable and an extra challenge to try and pee with them and the dress.

I'm not wearing them - I have open-toe shoes, so I really can't. Plus, the whole bathroom thing - it's going to be hard enough to pee in a huge dress without worrying about pantyhose!

HELL No! Definately NOT wearing stockings! First of all...who the hell is going to see whether or not your wearing them!?!?! And...i'm wearing open toe shoes!

I don't plan on wearing the either...no one will see. I find the so irritating. I was going to wear stockings to my engagment party but every time I went to put them on i would get a rip in them....I went through 4 pairs that day and said the hell with it.

I dont think it would look odd if you don't wear them.
I am going to wear them, I don't like how my feet feel in dress shoes without them. I only usually don't wear stockings if I am wearing sandals on my feet.
