I know we can't predict the weather but i've been looking at the farmers almanac and it's predicting a very cold and wet winter. I'm getting worried

I know the farmers almanac is supposed to be accurate, but this is what they say
'The snowiest periods will be in early and mid-December, early January, early and late February, and early March.'

They're basically saying it won't snow too much in late January and mid February? I just don't see how they can tell so long before. I think they cover their butts by making vague statements like the one above.

Hopefully we'll all be fine. I bought my faux fur wrap just in case

It's very vague though. It's doesn't really say.

We went into booking the wedding on 02/28 figuring that snow would be much nicer to deal with than rain...or off shot of the 70 degree day thanks to global warming. You never know what you're going to get!

I think i'm going to get a faux fur wrap, and my Mom is making all of my girls wraps. We also booked the Vanderbilt Mansion for in between the church and reception because they offer both indoor and outdoor photo ops, depending on the weather!
