Winter Brides

I am trying to think of indoor photo locations for my December wedding. I am looking for somewhere with a mansion feel (staircase, fireplaces, etc.) and the possibility to take pics outside depending on the weather. I am not sure if Old Westbury Gardens allows you to take pics inside the mansion. FH and I got engaged at the EAB tree so that is another option. Has anyone taken pics there or have any other ideas? Thanks

First you can take pictures inside at Old westbury gardens. I just contacted them becasue I am getting married in Jan and would like the option of indoor or outdoor depending on the wedding. There is a fee, $275-$475, depending on the time of day. The ealier the cheaper. Each photo session is 1 1/2 hours and you are limited to the amount of cars allowed. you can always pay extra for additional cars. There is a whole form you have to fill out on their website with all of the info about your wedding. The lady that deals with this was extremly rude and rushed me off of the phone.

I wanted to take my engagement photos at EAB plaza since that is where FH and I met. I contacted the mangement office and they no longer allow pictures to be taken there due to 9/11, inside or outside. I am trying to think of places for pictures as well but becasue its winter I think we will end up outside. I really dont want to pay that fee.
