What's a good destination for a mini-moon? FH can only take a couple of days off after our wedding, so we want to take a small mini-moon before we go on our real honey moon in the spring. I'm looking for something warm and not too far away. I was thinking the Keys, but it's not really that hot there in January. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hmm, any place really hot will be at least a 3-4 hour flight. Have you considered embracing the cold and maybe going to Montreal or Quebec City?
We're taking our full honeymoon right away and are between Australia/New Zealand and Hawaii, because everywhere else is too cold, so I feel your pain!

A friend of the family is a travel agent and she said during that time of year if you want it to be warm you have to go to puerto rico and south. Anything north of that won't be that warm. HTH!
