Are winter brides still doing a slipper basket? I went to a Wedding on Sunday and my feet were killing me. All I could think was, man I wish I had a slipper basket right now LOL.. My mom said girls will be wearing stockings and I am not a fan of the chinese slip ons, so even with stockings can I still do flip flops?

I don;t know if I want to do a slipper basket or not. Can anyone give me a run down of how that works? How many slippers? what sizes? How much does it run once completed?
Sorry to take over your thread!

Re: Winter Brides - Slipper Basket
My only concern about slippers over flip flops--can you really dance in slippers? I always feel like those chinese ones fall off my feet...
I only have about 50 guests that are women...thinking of getting 40 pairs of slippers or flip flops ranging from size 7-10...
as of now thats all i have come up with LOL

Re: Winter Brides - Slipper Basket
i'm currently working on my flip flop baskets for the same reason as yours (went to a weddng recently and my feet were killing me)
i bought enough flip flops for each woman attending (actually i bought a few extras since they come in bulk with 72 of them in various sizes).
i think flip flops in winter is still fine, but slippers might be slightly better becaues of the stockings issue as your mom said. Or maybe you could find flip flops with the band over the toes (not between) ....

i say go with the slippers. Odds of someone not wearing pantyhose is slim. What about trying to find cute ballet flats, that way people's feet won't slip out.
