Where are you planning on taking pictures? I am going to take some at my rh at the photo studio...but I dont want all indoor pictures....We are limited because of the time that the sun sets- but does anyone know of a place near Chateau Briand (or in south queens) where I might be able to take some pics outside...

i'm taking my pics on the fox hollow grounds and in their photo studio. We will start taking pics at around 3 pm (before ceremony) so we can have some sunlight.

Since our RH is out in Queens, we are going to try to take pictures at Shea Stadium. FH is a huge Mets fan, and so is most of the bridal party. If it's not torn down by then, I am planning on it. If not, then most of our pics will be taken outside of the chapel, and at the RH.

There is a gazebo in Garden City (on Stewart Avenue - just west of the Garden City hotel) that a lot of local brides use for pictures. It's about 5 minutes away from Chateau Briand.

I am a Feb. bride and we are going to take pics primarily inside -- the florist is getting there early so by the time we want to take pics the ceremony site is already set up with flowers. If possible, we are going to do outside pics -- not if below freezing or blizzardy, but we are going to brave it for at least 5 minutes and move fast.

I scheduled my wedding so I will be out of the church by 3:45 P.M. and have a little time for outdoor pictures. We are going to take pictures on the beach at our RH. I'll freeze for a little bit...to get some good shots.

Your not going to have much time...the sun sets at like 4:30...which is the problem that I am running into. There are places that I would like to go- but the sun is going to be setting

Yes - it's a little public park. And I lied, it's actually just east of the Garden City Hotel (I get confused) on Stewart Avenue west (for real this time) of Franklin. It's in between the Garden City Hotel and Village Hall.

We'll take pictures both inside and outside of the church and reception hall... We plan to get as many pictures outside in while the daylight holds out, and then we'll take the inside pictures.

Besides the RH and church we're gonna go to EAB Plaza in Uniondale.. they set up beautifully for the holidays. We're also going to go to the parents house. Sounds weird but they have a gorgeous house with tons of great places in and out for pics

Re: Winter Brides...Past and Future
all my pics will be inside at the RH. We are getting married on a Friday night at the RH so we have no options. But on the positive side It is a 2 event venue that turned into 1 so we have the whole place for pics!!!
