I am having my wedding in January and I was thinking about have birch tree centerpieces with Crystals hanging from the branches and candles circling the trees.
Has anyone had these or are having these for your wedding? Can you tell me about how much they cost and if you have any pictures to share.

I am sure you can find much cheaper than this pic. The tree alone is $400. But it is GORGEOUS!!

im doing white brach cp's with hanging votives and i am going to give my florist some hanging crystals to to add as well - i havent found any yet but if i do i will let you know.....someone said michaels had them but i havent looked yet....if you google swarvoski hanging crystals you will find lots of sites that sell them, i just dont want to get them off the internet...

I bet you could totally DIY this. You could pick up willow branches at Michaels or even Pier 1, and then find old glass chandelier gems at a thrift store or garage sale. Bead stores might be another good option. An online one that I use all the time is Fire Mountain Gems

did you ask your florist first about the hanging crystals. I had hanging crystals from my cp's...the florist supplied the crystals and there was no extra charge since they take it back

My dear FH is DIYing one for me it will go on the piano at the RH. For all of the materials he has $57 tied up in it. I still have to string all the beads...

yes please let us know! The manzanita branches i know were pricey on some websites and swarovski crystals were on the high end too. I figured it to run anywhere between $100 to $200.

Fishing line $1.99 walmart
it came out to like $61 total.

Anyone know what it would cost to rent one, and from where? I have looked into making one, but not sure what to do with it afterwards. Might look strange (IMHO) normally in a home.
