Is anybody a worried about the weather? I am totally freaking out today!!! What if there is a blizzard? I wouldn't mind some snow but not a storm....
Anybody have a reliable sight for weather predictions? I don't think the farmers almanc for 2010 is out yet.

Re: Winter Weather
I'm the day before you and I'm not concerned at all, you can't really worry about it as its something that you cannot control at all.
Just like all the summer brides that are getting rain this year, they weren't expecting such a crappy summer so far, but you can't do anything about it

Hey DMC.
Im sorry you are freaking out about this.
The fact is you cant control the weather. Even if you find a weather website, or even the farmers almanac, you JUST cant rely on it.
Go with the flow and don't worry. It is what it is! Just like a woman getting married in Florida in August has to be aware there COULD be a hurricane, you have to be aware there COULD be snow.
So you can either let it be and deal with what you have to at the time, or you can go CRAZY worrying about something that you HAVE no control over and cant predict.
Don't waste your precious energy on this. Take a step back and a breath of air.
Deal with it at the end of December when you have a better idea and can do something.

Re: Winter Weather
Its going to be ok don't worry. We really don't get much snow on Long Island and if it's a little snow people will still come out just will leave extra time to get places. Plus a little flurries will be really pretty! My wedding is jan. 2 the year after and i really havent given the weather much thought. Yes, its going to be cold but we can't control the rain, snow, or anything. My parents wedding was in January and it snowed like 1/2 a foot and everyone still came and had such an amazing time! It's going to be ok!

Re: Winter Weather
My sister got married in Jan, my mother and father prayed to every single Saint that it wouldnt snow. She really wanted to get married Jan 3 but my mom went nuts bc it was too close to New Years Eve, so she did it the 10th
Jan 3 weather was 55 sunny Jan 10 sunny -15
so my suggestion is pray for the no snow and semi warm day
dont worry regardless your family and friends will come to the wedding

You're getting married on my 30th birthday...so I guarantee you nice weather!!! But seriously, you can't worry about that. No matter what time of the year you're getting married, there's no way to predict the weather. You just gotta focus on the wedding and what you can control.
No way don't worry. Everything will be fine. I had a little bit of snow and it was perfect for pictures.

Re: Winter Weather
weather is the only thing that is out of your control... that being said, try not to stress over it... look at all the rain we've been getting... i highly doubt any of our june brides ever expected the month to be like this... but nothing you can do...
