Re: Winter Wedding
I had a winter wedding also, except mine was a Christmas Theme rather than Winter. I like the idea of winter colors for your BM dresses (like ice blue for example).
For my favors I did miniature Christmas trees (live bonsais) but you could so something like Cocoa. You can get personalized glass cones filled with cocoa for each couple. It's so pretty & definitely something relating to 'winter'.
Centerpieces could be something like this
Really there are soooo many fun things you can do with a winter wedding. Check out the 'Theme Wedding' board. I'm sure there's more stuff over there for you to check out.
Good luck!

I am getting married in December of 2009. I think we are giving snowflake coasters as our favor.

i'm getting married Jan 2010 also, I'm doing blues, silver, and white as my colors, i'm snowflakes all throughout the RH. My BM's are wearing navy dresses with silver trim and as part of their gifts I bought them snowflakes necklaces to wear the day of the wedding

Pray to the winter G-d's for no snow!
I saw on another post that someone had carolers at the CH. Granted it was right before X-mas.

Re: Winter Wedding
I'm in December, so I'm doing more rich tones, like burgundies, ivories, and golds, with a Venetian theme. So it's definitely more old world Christmas than Winter Wonderland, but still festive in it's own right lol.

We should order together, we'd probably get an amazing deal ordering in bulk!

That's a really fun idea. I've seen that before, and i loved it.
You could also have your girls (and/or YOU) carry faux fur muffs rather than flower bouquets. It's actually a lot cheaper and they look gorgeous. I did that for my Christmas Wedding and I LOVE how it turned out in pictures.

Re: Winter Wedding
My friend had her wedding in December (12/13) and she had a Christmas Theme. She had red dresses, her wedding cake were in the shape of presents with ornaments on top, and her wedding song was 'The Gift'. Everything was beautiful!
