hey ladies, i see that a few of u are having your special day in the winter, just wondering what kind of themes or colors u r using for the RH. Im using icy blue and platinum...any ideas plz share..

I'm a winter bride and I decided to use chocolate brown and gold. The westbury manor has a lot of golds in the decoration so the color scheme works perfectly. Since I am having a lot of browns in the wedding i decided on a chocolate theme. The favors the food and even the martini signiture drinks are going to be chocolate. Alot of the decor is going to be chocolate including the candy buffet.
I love your idea of the icy blue and platinum. I think that is going to look amazing. There was another bride on here who did that and her pictures came out georgous

Hey I'm having a winter wedding and I think I want to keep it simple...lots of winter white/creams, and dark silver, and black....maybe some blush pink accents. I'm also going to prob go with candelabras instead of floral centerpieces

I am still toying with the idea of using blues since i love blues!! I think your colors sound beautiful.
My RH has lots of burgundy and gold but i plan on getting ivory chair covers and linens...so it looks like a white wedding. Also there will be white birch branches around (the RH decorates) and silver star lights outside the windows. I'm so excited!
I am thinking about red, silver and black.. lots of roses and LOTS of candles

i would love red roses but i dont wanna do red right after the hoolidays and valentines day, so the next best thing to red would be blue!

Yup, I hope so! I really love the color and the feathers. I think your idea of blue is great. that was originally my idea as well since i didnt want to do red either. then i saw the dark silver and loved it. But go with your instincts!
