ahh as the wedding gets closer i have to admit, i'm sort of starting to regret our decision to do it in the winter...i'm so cold already!! plus so many OOT ppl are coming to freeze their butts off! and it's getting dark so early...hope everyone isn't sleeping before we even get to dinner ......too late now......... it better be twice as fun!

Don't worry! I'm sure the RH will be nice and warm! and everyone should still be in party mode from the holidays!

Sandy dont worry about it. I actually never thought about that. I am sure everything will turn out perfectly fine and people will have a great time. Getting dark early just means party time starts ealier

no way! honestly the RH will be all set up and decoarted for winter and the holidays. its gonna be beautiful!
If i had a choice its fall 1st and def winter after dec through jan!

Don't worry the RH will be decorated beautifully... Our guests thought all the Christmas decorations were gorgeous, and no one complained about the cold... at least not to me lol. It will be beautiful.

I feel the same way. I'm so cold already! I can't imagine having to take pictures in Jan. and still look cute! lol but i keep thinking about how crazy our weather is and we very well may get a unusually warm day for the beginning of Jan. Here's hoping!

i LOVED my winter wedding! it was 28 degrees and we joke about the weather still. and as someone that hates cold weather, having my anniversary in january (same date as yours, actually!) makes me look forward to something in the winter .
i would just recommend making sure you have an indoor photography plan just in case it's too cold to take pictures outdoors. we took our pictures at a local library, and it was a ridiculous amount of fun .

DO NOT WORRY AT ALL! I got married in February & the weather was 48 & sunny & beautiful. I never even had to put my coat on. It was so warm & your so happy & having fun u never even think of the cold. I know i was so lucky on my day. I swear my wedding was sooo much fun & the dance floor was packed all night. Not one person left early & everyone had a great time. Also friends that have gotten married on cold days with snow etc. All was fine & everyone had lots of fun. Just enjoy. I also had alot of people say how refreshing it was to go to a wedding at a time when no-one really does. That the summers are always packed with things & the winters are usually quiet. So it was great to have something nice fun & beautiful to attend.

you have a great time of the year, it will still be fresh with holiday spirit and its not going to really be nasty as winter has just started the end of december. I can deal with cold if it means I warm up by the open bar all night!
