Has anyone had or gone to a winter wedding that did some unique things that you remember.
Like - Exit table with hot apple cider and hot chocolate - table settings ornaments that hung on a tree in alaphabetical order.
Looking for some cute little details I can add.

Re: Winter Wedding Ideas
I heard of apple cider and donuts. I was actually thinking of doing hot chocolate as well. Your ideas are cute though. Since it is time for winter wedding I would look on some wedding sites i'm sure there are tons of ideas.

Re: Winter Wedding Ideas
I have seen little mini tabletop evergreen trees with ribbon and ornaments and little lights on them as centerpieces. They looked absolutely adorable! If your wedding is in December that looks nice. I have also seen mini apple cider bottles from local farms as favors...those are cute too. Frosted looking pine cones in the decor is cute for a winter wedding sometimes they have this glitter type look.

we are having a winter wedding! I am going to do something like your idea with the tree, either having place cards on the tree or even a guest book where people can sign an ornament and then hang it up on the tree in lieu of a guest book...
some other ideas are: having christmas carolers at CH having the band play some christmas songs serving egg nog at CH

Re: Winter Wedding Ideas
Loving these ideas. We're going to do the hot cider for those who may not want champagne upon arrival. Using winter flowers and tree branches is a nice natural way to suggest winter without Christmas per se in the case the wedding is after 12/25.

Re: Winter Wedding Ideas
Do little ornaments for each couple in lieu of placecards.

Re: Winter Wedding Ideas
I just had a winter wedding -- I had birch branches and vases of ornaments as centerpieces; my favors were homemade hot chocolate packages; my placecard holders were ornaments; I had a 'snow' covered cake with mr & mrs snowmen on top; and there were a lot of other things I did that made it feel very wintery! I'm sure there are more you can think of, but hopefully you can get some ideas from my review, which I hope to post pretty soon!
