I am getting married January 23, 2010 @ The Woodlands. There is a chance I may not have access to take photos there until 6:00 PM (if they are having a day event). I will need to find a hotel to stay the night of my wedding anyway, so I’m considering going back to that hotel after my church ceremony and taking photos there. Does anyone have any suggestions on hotels near The Woodlands (Woodbury) that will allow this and that have nice spaces indoors for photos? I’m not too familiar with the hotels on LI.

The Inn at Fox Hollow? The have beautiful Royal Suites which are lovely for photos- also fireplaces ect. You might have to ask permission.

Sure They have a nice wrapping staircase too. It's on Jericho turnpike...and the suites have nice couches (not the standard hotel couch) which would make for good photos with DH.

I think the Inn at Fox Hollow would be your best bet especially if you plan on taking pics there. The place is gorgeous!

I just checked out their website and the suites look so BEAUTIFUL! I'm definitely going to look into it.

I loooooove the Woodlands. As soon as I walked in I knew it was the place I wanted to have my wedding.
My fiance lives in LI but I live in Queens and I really wanted to have my wedding in the city. But The Woodlands blew me away. It's on the pricier side but it's definitely worth checking out.

The Inn at Fox Hollow. I stayed there the night before my wedding. We didn't take any pics there but the room was beautiful. Even the lobby is gorgeous.
