Winter Weddings

I am trying to decide on a hall for my winter wedding. Does anyone have some suggestions for halls in Nassau county ? I'm looking for a place that decorates nicely both outside and inside for the winter.

Thanks

Flowerfield does an AMAZING job to decorate for winter. I almost pushed my date later just to have it. They cocktail hour room is FILLED with pointsettas, a huge christmas tree and white lights. They have books of some of their winter weddings that you could check out.

i would check out Jericho Terrace - that is why i chose them, they have so many indoor places that look BEAUTIFUL. . . there are fireplaces, these hallways with cool mirror door things ( you have to see them its awesome), they have a balcony that you can stand in and it looks like you are outside, they have this really nice floor that looks beautiful when the photog takes pictures from a higher point, they have indoor garden areas. . .a whole bunch of little nooks and crannies with nice places to take pictures. . . .

outside they have a little garden area and a gazebo - beautiful - i have seen some night/snowy pictures taken there that i LOVED

also i loved how they decorated for christmas and i even asked them to keep it decorated for my jan 12 wedding!

FM if you have any questions!

FOX HOLLOW! Check out hmpena's review! She had a wedding in January, and all the decor was still up. I was taken away when I walked in!

Westbury Manor - they decorate the outside in all white lights and have lots of evergreens so it doesn't look bare. The house florist does an amazing job on the inside. We had our reception there in February and it was beautiful inside and out.

I'm a winter bride and I'm getting married at the Royalton, it's gorgeous, inside and out and they do decorate for the holidays (tastefully)

I second WM 'cus i know for a fact that WM looks beautiful even in the winter. I booked it in January when the garden was at its most barren.

I also recommend Westbury Manor for the reasons both girls posted above.

Check out the Milleridge! The entire village is decorated and the place is so gorgeous and festive. I would suggest going to look this winter- that is what I did, so I could get a feel of how the hall is during the winter months - like I went around Christmas time, cause I wanted to see the halls decorated.

Good Luck

I'm sure they all decorate nicely... if u have time to wait untill next month I would go when they start decorating and see them for yourself in person...but JT really does an amazing job :)
