wire-wrapping LOOPS onto tiara (for bobby pins)

wire-wrapping LOOPS onto tiara (for bobby pins)

Does anyone know a good way to do this?

(Wire-wrapping loops of thick thread or cord (I guess) onto the bottom of the tiara so that the hairdresser can put the bobby pins through the loops....)

ETA: I had had my seamstress do it and I thought she had ruined my tiara!

She hot glued and wire-wrapped this thick white material on the back of the tiara that had loops hanging off the bottom. The WHITE was totally VISIBLE behind half the height of my tiara and the hot glue had bubbled through the detailing of my tiara. Fortunately, my Mom got it all off but we nearly fainted at the sight of it!

I had something like that on my headpiece. I went to Patchogue Floral Fantasyland and bought a small piece, it was like under $2.

Then using a glue gun, I attached it to my headpiece. And my hair dresser was able to stick the bobby pins through the loops so that my head piece would stay in place and not 'bounce' when I moved.

Sorry I don't have a pic, I knew I should've taken one!!
