wisdom teeth being pulled in the morning

i m not happy at all..9:30 is my appt and 2 of them r being pulled.. i really wanna cry b/c i dont wanna deal with this right now :(

they r giving me the option of being put to sleep or being numb and being awake..i dont kno what im doing yet but i will probably b out of commission the whole weekend:(

i just want tomorrow to b over

I had two pulled at a time and it really was not that bad. You should be fine for the weekend - don't stress about it.

it's not so bad-- i wasn't totally out but i wasn't exactly awake either. it was weird. you might want to think about doing all four at once though, while you're there.

I had all 4 taken out when I was 16. My doctor insisted on putting me in the hospital (same day surgery). Unfortunately, they gave me to much anesthesia, so I was very nauseous in the car ride home. But, I slept pretty well the night of my surgery.

I just had mine pulled too and i asked around to see if i should be put out or just get novacane...i opted for the novacain due to suggestions here and things people told me about being put out. It really was no issue at all..a little pulling, a little cracking and its out...i worried more then anything..it did not hurt one bit...just a wee bit sore afterwards...hope that helps...

I just did novacain too, and was really happy I did. It was less than a half hour for 2, and then I could leave--people who were put under had to hang around for a long time more to make sure it wore off OK, and were still staggering out. I got sick from the vicodin too, so I just did 2 advil every 2-3 hours, which the surgeon recommended. I was pretty out of commission for the weekend, and a little swollen, but not too bad. I was glad I had someone to drive me home though because I was kind of woozy...

I had all 4 done at once a few years ago, and was knocked out for it. I felt that I only wanted to go through one recovery process. The first couple of days were annoying..just take advantage of being forced to rest! Good luck Michi!
