Re: Wish Bowl
I bought a regular scrap book and I plan on just mounting each on of them into the book, with our other wedding keepsakes.
I just hope people will actually use the wishbowl

Re: Wish Bowl
Here's an idea to consider:
Kolo makes some really nice albums and you could take the cards and attach 1-2 per page with a few pics from the shower/wedding. So you could make a cute album using the cards.
As far as the wish bowl - it really is a cute idea. Your guest share words of advice or wishes for you on cards and place them in a vase or bowl (whatever you want). It's great to look back later at the things they have said. Very simple to do but priceless in terms of memories.

Re: Wish Bowl
I am doing this too. I am taking the wishes afterward and scrapbooking them with the disposable camera pics. Here is a pic of the one I made. The wish cards are the all purpose tickets from Gartner Studios (uprint.com)
Girls that have done this: What sort of directions did you leave on the table, any cute poem or saying?

Re: Wish Bowl
I have a cute poem that I did but it's at home. I took a little from each of the following and made a new one. But these are good too...just as they are:
Weddings are more than just rings and tossed rice In leiu(sp?) of a geustbook we ask for well wishes and advice So grab a pen and paper, write what you wish Just remember to sign your name before putting it in the dish _____________
As we begin our journey – A brand new Mr. and Mrs. We surely could use Your advice and good wishes.
Share with us your wisdom About marriage love and life The secret to being a good husband Or a top notch, first rate wife
Jot down a memory, A reminder of our day. A doodle or picture will do If you don't know what to say.
Please don't forget – It would be such a shame Don't drop your card in the bowl Without signing your name.
Whatever you pen, We're sure to treasure Long after this day has passed, Your words will bring us pleasure
__________
Along with your Name Please Write Thoughts and Wishes to the New Mr. and Mrs. ______________
From each of your experiences, Comes a very treasured gift, a piece of knowledge, we didn't know exists.
Please share with us your wisdom, about marriage, love, and life, How to be a loving husband, or the perfect wife.
Please write your Thoughts and gestures, to share with us for life, for the greatest gift of all, is the gift of your advice.
