wish bowl... thanks!!

i just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me such great advice and suggestions these past couple weeks. i would like to share a picture of how our wish bowl looked because i 'borrowed' some ideas right from this board. thanks again.

ps - the wish bowl was a success. everyone thought it was such a cute idea.

Maybe I'm just REALLY new at this, but what is a wish bowl??? It might be an idea I'd like to 'steal' , no really, I'm not sure what it is and I can't really see the pics you posted. Thanks!

instead of using a guestbook where you just get names and addresses of people you already have address for, some people are using this martha stewart wishbowl idea. where guests can write more personal messages. if you go to martha site and search wish bowl you can find the original idea. search on this site too, there are a couple posts about them. guests write on the paper and drop it in the bowl. the brides can then make a scrapbook with them later. here is a bigger picture.

okay, thanks, now I got it! I kind of thought that's what it was, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the bigger pic, you can see it much better! I will be sure to check out Martha Stewarts website!

What text is in the frame?
I am also doing a wish bowl. I got a photoablum with photo 'pockets' to put each wish in after the wedding.
