I reallllllly want my bridal party to float wish lanterns at some point during the reception but I'm wondering if it's a recipe for disaster! Any thoughts? We are doing a Jan wedding so it will be cold and they do have to be lit. I think they're so beautiful and figured if it was just the bridal party it wouldn't be too bad. My mother tends to disagree. What do you guys think?! Here is a link for those of you who are like huh what the heck are wish lanterns! haha http://www.skylanterns.com/

Wish Lanters?
Oh I think I've seen those on an episode of four weddings! lol
I don't really know much about them so I would suggest talking to Fox Hollow about it! If it's just the bridal party, that doesn't seem so bad. If it was your bridal party plus some guests, that's a different story lol

I saw that episode too. I would agree to ask Fox Hollow and see what they think about it. If they are ok with it I don't see the harm in doing it with the Bridal Party. When during the wedding would you like to do it? I think you'd get really great pictures!

You should def. do it! We are getting married in May and are planning to also have a lantern release before the viennese hour starts. It will make your wedding stand out and be memorable and is so beautiful to watch. Just ask your venue if they allow them.
