Wish me luck ladies!

Tomorrow and Friday my school is having our 'Quality Review'. Its going to be done every year to determine how well developed the school is in several different areas and then determine a report card grade. The NYC Dept of Ed hired an independent company to do this for every school in the city.

I know we will be fine, but im still nervous and i was getting all of my data and reports and observations etc. in nice files becaue i dont know what he will ask of me during my 'cabinet interview' with him!!

Good luck with your quality review. We had ours last month and it wsn't as tough as we thought.
I met with our reviewer and she was pretty nice.

I am a teacher but my school began ours today and will last until Friday. I'm supposed to be a part of a group of teachers who talk to the guy tomorrow and not looking forward to it at all!

Def looking forward to Friday Happy Hour!!

going to get some sleep for the big day!!

Good Luck. Ours was in March and it wasnt that bad. I was on one of the teams that they met with and the guys seemed nice.

You guys will do great!!!

we just had ours it went really well.. do you know who your interviewer is... my prinicipal said that at his principals meeting other schools were getting looked at the smallest of details ... our reviewer didnt look at any data just did walk throughs and interviews and was very pleased

how did it go today? where do u work?

As far as I know everything went ok. He spend a bit of time in the 4th grade. One teacher's room for a while. Checked portfolios and plans. From what I heard he basically went to the rooms that the administrators prepared (gave the teacher's notice that they would be coming in).

Tomorrow he will be coming around to the lower grades so hopefully it goes well!
