Wish me luck pls- update post

I'm getting my eyeballs sliced tomorrow. No seriously I am going for lasiq surgery in the am. I am a little nervous though they say it is routine. I am going to go to bed soon, I really hope they can correct my horrid eyesight.

I didnt have lasik but i had PRK which is where they atually burn off your cornea instead of slicing them...so recovery was about a week...it was sooooooooooo worth it...you will love your new eyeballs!!!

I heard of that too.

I am nervous b/c of my high prescription that they may not be able to get it all in one shot & may have to do a followup, which means I would have to get a whole new prescription until the followup. & would defeat the purpose of doing it before the wedding lol

Thank you so much. Actually the timing of this was due to not luck.. haha.

My eye doctors said he wasn't going to give me contacts anymore b/c I kept getting eye infections from them. He cut me off!!!

But it was for the best because off I go later on to get new sight

no they could probably do the second eye within a week or two...with lasik your good to go practically the same day!

wow, great. I know for most it is a day , my eye doctor said I may need a couple to three just because of how strong my presciption was & may eyes just may need a few to adjust.

I hope not though I want to get going again in a day.

my eyes both have perfect eyesight now. My one eye is actually slightly better then 20/20. I had really terrible eyesight too. I seriously couldn't function without my contacts or glasses... couldn't see anything. lasik has been a miracle for me!

def give an update as soon as you can but make sure you rest your eyes for as long as they tell you to! resting your eyes afterwards is very important!
