Wish me luck, today I am getting my hair........

Japanese Straightened!!

I am really excited but really nervous. The guy who is doing it told me it is really gentle on your hair compared to the american relaxers. Hope he is right!!!

oooooooooooooooh show us before and after shots. A girl at my job can refer me to a place for like $300. her hair looks great too and she dies it too.

I was wavering back and forth for sooo long!! I get my hair straightened already and I dont want it to look overprocessed or TOO straight.

Well, after lots of research, i finally decided to just go for it. I am tired of the maintenance of blowing it out for 30 minutes...and am now at the point that I will do anything to shorten the time I spend with my hair.

I also saw someone at my office who had it done at the same place I am going and her hair is not pin straight.

I will let you guys know how it turns out. I cant believe I am this nervous about it.

I will post pics...but the funny thing is that my hair is straight now because i have gotten it straightened (not this process) for the last 10 years. So instead of going for the old process to get the roots done, I am getting this new process but they will also be doing my entire head.

I imagine my hair will appear straighter and maybe thinner....I dont know...but I will keep you guys posted.

Yeah - I definitely wanna know how it goes. I have been going thru the same thing... but just went for a haircut so maybe when it grows back in a little... Where are you going again? I know you posted where in that thread a few weeks ago... Ahhh - here I go again!

So, I was supposed to get the Japanese Hair straightening the evening of the blackout....Thank goodness my appt was at 4:30 and I was not in the middle of the procedure.

So my new appt. is for Friday morning. So AGAIN I am nervous and just can't wait to have LOW maintenance hair.
