I just got home from my first lesson, and it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be!!! And he said I did really good!!! Thanks for all the well wishes!!

Good luck Kerri!!! Thought I was the only one who doesn't know how to drive on this site. I'll be starting lessons this summer and I am soooo nervous. I told myself, I have to learn before I get married, lol.

I dont know how to drive either. I took drivers ed when I was 17 but never followed through with the road test. I lived in brooklyn most of my life and never needed to drive. Now Im out in LI and its horrible lol.

I understand, since I'm from the Bronx. It's like you grow up with public transportation all around you and you never learn. MY FH drives but I can't always put that on him. If I wanna go to a G2G, I want to be able to drive myself, lol.

I didn't get my license until I was 22. I lived in Brooklyn or Manhattan my whole life, but I started dating FH and he lived in Jersey. After two years of chauffering my lazy behind, he finally said 'get your license or we're breaking up.' I did, and now we're getting married!
