Wish me luck...going back to my eye doctor tomorrow...UPDATE...my annoying day at the Doctors (notice the plural)

So, I have this really bad inflammation of my inner eye, and I have my follow up again tomorrow to see when I can actually wear contacts again, or more importantly, when I can stop dilating my eyes on a daily basis...however, I am a little scared because my left eye has turned red again and I am getting pain in the back of my eye...making matters worse, my rheumatoid arthritis is flaring up big time...I just want this to stop...wedding is 93 days away and I want to be okay for it! Wish me luck and hopefully I will get good news...I might have to also go to the rheumatologist to see what we need to do to push my eyes and joints into remission...I will keep everyone posted!

UPDATE: Got some good news at one doctor and not so good at the other.
My eye doctor said my eye looks a lot better and the inflammation really looks like it is gone...however, he is concerned that my vision was blurring again, so it is another 2 weeks of dilating my eyes daily and drops, because he was concerned that my eyes might be getting inflamed again.
Now, off to my rheumatologist (after a trip to Bergdorf Goodman with FH-I got two shirts, which made me happy)
My bloodwork came back basically fine, except my inflammation rate (called SED rate I think) was high...so I get oral steroids (prednisone) I have to do that for two weeks and then we are going to see if my flare stops...then we have to re-evaluate my meds, but the good news is if we get everything under control and if i CALM DOWN (yeah right, my wedding is in 3 months), I can probably get this all to go away, and I definitely will be fine for the wedding. So I am achy now, and my hands and ankles are swollen (my e-ring won't come off, but that is not too bad)

OH! Good luck! I've been having issues with my eyes as well and have been out of contacts and in glasses for almost 2 months. I finally got the approval to go back into my contacts....i feel for ya! Good luck...hope all goes well.

Can't wait to hear what happens! The judge on the Lohan case in Nassau is actually a former partner of the firm where I summered. I actually ran into Michael Lohan one day and immediately recognized him from the gossip rags!!

I'll definitely let you know about outlines, I'm taking some bizzaro stuff this semester (e.g., enviro law, entertainment law) so i don't know if you'll have outlines. But guess what i WILL be harrassing you for help with - FAMILY LAW!!!! AHHHHHHH!

YESSSSS, and I was totally gawking like a fool! I was with some young lawyers from the firm who were like 'ummm, how cuold you possibly recognize him?' I opted not to explain my obsession for perezhilton.com, lol. The family court in Nassau is so crazy on a regular day, I can't imagine what a circus it must be when those people are in there. I was there one day when some lady was painting her toenails in the courtroom and when someone looked at her she said 'WHAT?! It's my birthday!!!'

I interned at Nassau Supreme 2 summers ago, and the law sec'y running the program told me he got punched in the face at Family Court! He said that two men started a fight in the hallway, and he stepped near them and said something to the effect of 'come on guys, you don't want to do this here' and he got socked in the face!
