I saw in a catalog today a wish vase. There were papers you could have your guests write a wish on for you and read it later on. I was thinking of making a tree out of branches so that they could hang the wishes on. Has anyone ever done this or know where I could get the stuff to make it??
Thanks

Re: Wish tree
I would use manzanita branches. They aren't cheap but they are strong enough to hold votives. You can find vendors online via a search engine. If you are getting married in the Spring you can use cherry blossom branches too.

FYI! www.save-on-crafts.com has the manzanita branches on ridiculous discount.

Re: Wish tree
Hi I found this wish tree and i am going to do somethig like it i also found this poem that you can frame and put on the table with the tree As we begin our new journey a brand new Mr. & Mrs. We could surely use your advise and wishes. Share with us your wisdom about marriage, love & life, The secret to being a good husband or top-notch first-rate wife
Thanks... I found that one last night so I printed it out. It looks really intricate. I am not sure how fancy I am going to make mine. The website on this thread had the manzanita branches for a good price.

How much do cherry blossom branches cost? When are they available?

I don't know about cost but they bloom in the Spring only - usually April-May

Re: Wish tree
I went to Pier 1 today and they sold heavy willow branches that were nice and inexpensive. Just an FYI

Re: Wish tree
This was recently posted on project wedding. Not my style, but I like that she sprayed the branches. (I'm more au naturale girl)
