ahhh! i'm totally freaking out.... we just put in our first bid for a house!! we'll hear by 6pm tomorrow, hopefully sooner though! let's hope that they accept it and don't counter with a much higher price

now it's a waiting game!

so we heard back, and they countered at 25K more than what we asked. our realtor said that we should raise 20K and it would be a done deal....

the thing is that 20K doesn't sound like a lot in the big picture, but in a mortgage, its a whole lot more!! so of course i want to go higher, but FH (the level headed one) knows that we can't go that high. so we'll have to see
