what exactly is expected to be put in a wishing well?

Kitchen utensils, silly stuff that you wouldn't put on your registry... some people bring food items, paper towels...stuff like that. I try to buy cute stuff that the couple wouldnt register for but would like - like frozen icepop molds and margarita mixes or funky ice cube trays.

my sisters did a 'honeymoon' theme for my wishing well so we got travel sizes of a lot of things, some towels, two beach bags. it was really cute. and she used her own luggage as the 'well' it was cute!

push for a theme wishing well... otherwise you will have tons of knickkacks... I love a wine well!! everyone brings a bottle of wine!

little things like spatulas, towels, oven mits, kitchen utensils.. little ones and sometimes poeple put cookbooks, toliet paper and bounty in there too
