wishing well

I know this is a silly question... but can someone please explain exactly what this is... I have a bridal shower sunday and I want to make sure i'm right in what I'm getting for it TIA

Wishing wells are where people throw a little something extra in for the bride but it's like small kitchen gadgets and dish towels and soaps and stuff like that. I wouldn't spend more than like $5-$10 bucks on a wishing well item.

You can do more than one item if you choose...

It's whatever you want! Sometimes when it's someone close to us, we do a couple of things...I try to remember my favorite little kitchen gadgets that are cheap to get for wishing wells.

Re: wishing well

my advice:: keep it small!! I had a wishing well for my cousin's shower recently and the thing was over flowing (some people brought big things for it). We had no where for the stuff to go. It was a Huge shower though, so if there aren't sooooo many guests, I wouldn't worry about it.

yeah you could buy more than one item if you want, but I wouldn't go crazy because the other guests at the shower will be buying items to put in there as well. Plus, you are going to have your main gift to her as well.

I hate wishing wells. I have two stipulations for my shower. I have to know when it is and no wishing well because I'm sick of getting stuck with random stuff!
