I just got invited to a shower and they said there will be wishing well...but no specifics. I did not have one at my shower...what would you ladies give as a wishing well gift? how much would you spend on it? and do you include your name on the wishing well gift?

Re: wishing well help
I think wishing well is usually a small kitchen gadget unless otherwise specified. I think you could put a little tag on it

I know at the showers that I've been to with wishing wells, you normally put in a small item....potholder, kitchen towel, washclothes, peeler, soap, spoons...etc and normally you don't put your name on it...at least that's what's done in my family.

i like the idea of giving the groom to be a gift in the wishing well- a small tool or gadget that takes him into the excitement-

Yep. I also try to think of items that you will need in your home but might not always think to buy or have on hand. Like batteries, 3M hooks, and birthday candles.

i feel like wishing well is totally optional. you can get them spatulas or just smaller items. you can even throw in your favorite jarred tomato sauce! i definitely think it's ok to put your name on it!
