With 57 days to go, I still do not have a veil or heidpiece/hair jewlery!
I really don't want to spend a fortune because I really don't plan on wearing the veil the whole night (much to my mother's dismay) and I definitely don't want anything elaborate.
2 questions....
1) How did you match the color of the veil to your dress? Did you bring a swatch? What if you didn't have a swatch?
2) If you went to Barron's, how long did it take for the veil to come in?

Kim is your dress white? Mine is just called 'white' - not diamond white, etc. I am planning on just buying one that is also 'white.' It should match enough.
There is a great booth in the back of tricounty, run by an asian woman (only said to let you know where to look!), that sells headpieces, veils, etc. I got my headpiece there and if I decide not to borrow someone's veil, I will go back there for the veil. They had elbow length ones for $35 I think ... nice prices and nice veils. You can take them that day I believe.
Barron's is cheaper than the bridal stores but still a lot if you ask me - $100-125 seems to be the average I've seen here, and I really don't want to spend more than $50. I think they can take a few months normally, but if you tell them when your wedding is, they can handle it.

I ordered my viel way in advance , but I am sure that if you tell Barrons that u need it ASAP they can order it right away
whatever color your dress is, barrons can match it

you're not too late. I ordered from barron's about 2 weeks ago and I'm picking up my veil and headpiece on aug 16 but if you need yours faster than that, I believe she'll rush the order. I didn't have a swatch of my dress but she had little swatches of the veils, one of them was called diamond white which is the color of my dress so that's what I ordered.

Barron's made me a fingertip single tier veil for $30 within 3 weeks.

dont even worry, i didnt go to get my veil until 2 weeks before my wedding. I just brought in a swatch of my dress. She did have to work quick to get it done in 2 weeks but its definitely possible

I wouldn't worry, im getting married next week and i just got my veil last week! i ordered it online for a great price and it came in 2 days! they also had wonderful customer service. Let me know if you'd like the site!
