My FSIL (BM) is engaged... Dont get me wrong, I am happy for her & her FH (one of my best friends). But with my own wedding only 2 months away, I'm afraid everything (especially w/ my FMIL) is going to be about their engagement..
not to mention, she's 19, hes 24...and they havent even been dating a complete year! I feel as though he should have waited a lil while longer...

If I had married the guy I was with when I was 19, I would have divorced him by now. lol I am so happy we broke up.
When is her tentative wedding date? Im sure if it is in the far future they will still focus on your big day.

I just feel compelled to say that I AM marrying the guy I was with when I was 19, so that just brought me the LOLs.
I wouldn't worry too much about it...and, when, to be perfectly blunt, yeah, maybe some attention will be put on it...but it probably won't be positive attention. People do tend to look down on girls marrying that young, whether it's the right thing to do or not. So at least you're 'doing things right' and it won't take away from you, you know? I hope that came out right lol.
