With all the invite posts...

I have my own experience to add. I was talking to my BM about the RSVP and she's like this is my Rsvp- I'm coming! I haven't even sent the invite out yet and she is already planning on not sending the card back!! So I told her she HAD to do it and she totoally didn't get it. I'm sure she will now that I made a big stink over it, but what is wrong with people!!! I can just imagine what is going to happen once the invites go out in 2 weeks

The funny thing is that I am always pretty diligent in responding to wedding invites and sending the response cards back but, I'm horrible at doing it for weddings I am in! I don't know, I guess I just know they know I'm coming and I put the invitation to the side and then forget about it.

I then show up the day of the wedding to get ready and I have to ask what time it starts, I figure I'll be in the right place to get there on time so I don't look at that either!

I know how hard is sending the RSVP card back? it's already got the damn stamp on it!!! It's not that hard.

I'm sending mine out as well within 2-3 weeks - over 80% of our guests are OOT and they only have until Aug 16 to make hotel reservations where I reserved rooms, so I want to give people enough time - and myself some breathing room as well.

This isn't too early, early yes, very early, no.

OK good, I was getting nervous I was doing it too early. I didn't send out STD's so I figured I would give plenty of notice. It would be 3 months and then the reply would be due August 1 giving people more then enough time to drop the dumb thing in the mail!!!
